The Rumble of Gossip

Today was a mixed bag of events, first I could not find my minxie anywhere that I happened to grace with my presence as business was so dull without being able to savour whatever torment I was inflicting upon minxie at that moment, I found myself almost wandering out from a meeting. Of course it would never do for a gentleman like myself to appear as if I were actively looking for anyone so I ambled about her usual haunts only to find her vapid friends squealing over whatever mishap has chanced upon their pointless lives, none of my contacts had seen the girl and her name had not lingered upon the lips of any I encountered.

Although I never did manage to wander into her presence I did find rumours of minxie and I abounding all over the place which gave me the vicarious pleasure almost as satisfying as consummating our relationship in the flesh. I knew the gossip would pervade the town and it amused me how a moment perceived from the outside could metamorphose into a relationship. Although part of me must acknowledge that the relationship exists, just not on the physical plane that I would prefer.

I also knew that when this knowledge returned to monkey boy it would devastate his little ape heart for despite his little dalliance with Lynx both she and I knew it was the minx who held his attention. I wanted to punish him for daring to insert his hulking presence between us and so when asked about my little conversation with minxie I insinuated in the most discreet way that people should not gossip about the relationships of others. It was like fanning a flame and soon the herd animals were up and running towards the wrong conclusions as they are most oft to do. How I adore the fine art of manipulation. Minxie my love soon the day arrives when you will find yourself under me and covered in my desire.
