Start->Chapter 4->Episode 22 To Lucinda
Usurped is not a word strong enough to describe the turn of events, appropriate, commandeered, stolen is the word I search for, my future was stolen because I again was rendered soft and useless by emotion, emotion for a woman, a damnable minx who flouted her wanton liaisons. I was in the unfortunate position of having to either express my rage or kill whatever minion was within reach and here I was, held hostage by my association with this creature who consumes my every waking moment.
I was in my office attending to the dreary yet profitable events in my life when my personal phone rang, normally I do not attend to interruptions of my working day as I prefer to keep the brutality as concise and clean as I can. A breathless little voice let me know it was one of the brainless bits of fluff who aspired to be an actress but did some sort of waitress impersonation at the local café in the meantime. She informed me a voice smug with anticipation of a large tip that she had served the two vacant friends of minxie just a few minutes ago and had lingered long enough to overhear interesting portions of their discussion and since it was a conversation of excited gossip they were not observant of the third party to their chat.
Minxie in her usual practice of being duped by the ignorant fools about her has again flung herself into the fire with her usual abandon for she allowed ape boy to wedge himself into the spot I had so carefully cultivated, the place I had planned to take up residence in this very afternoon. I had sent him on a goose chase of sorts with false leads of business enquiries but it appears that he is far more engrossed with what is down his trousers than setting up his empire. I am going to take him down in a far more brutal fashion than I did the mountain and ape boy will be revealed for the lying, whoring cad that he is and minxie will pay the price of this indiscretion with her heart. I will ensure she cries tears of blood from the angst I am about to inflict for I am no longer at the mercy of my rage, no indeed, I am made of ice cold enough to burn all those who come near.
