Hanging on the Telephone

I don’t know if things get worse because we try to fix them or if they get worse because we don’t. Right now I am hiding out upstairs because Jojo the freak Sedero drove Chantal here to do some Bianca function hush-hush and I was not about to go anywhere near his demented presence.

Earlier on Tiah gave in and called me up after being in the cold for two days I guess she finally realized that Coco doesn’t actually have any conversation or any useful comments. It’s fine when she wants to just rave and Coco sits there nodding but when she really wanted to talk about something she usually looks me up. I would have given her a hard time only she seemed genuinely upset about Braith and Jazz and she was worried over the crises it would cause Taryn. At first I thought Tiah was actually concerned about her parents so I pointed out that Jazz is not such a bad person for Braith to be with after all she grew up with us and she is a decent person. This made Tiah sprackle every colour of the rainbow until I nearly went deaf from her ravings cause Tiah was not at all concerned for her brother’s wellbeing or her mother’s state of mind; no she was concerned that this might interfere with her plans to become famous.

Tiah is so far removed from reality I wonder if she is a real person or just some painted up doll and I told her if she really wanted to become famous all she had to do was a few discreet shots showing naked bits of herself and she could be the next superstar. Tiah treated the idea with scorn, saying it was the last refuge of a supermarket heiress (this is what she calls people less rich than she) so then I must be a bargain basement basket! Tiah raved on about Braith until I managed to mention Royce as I thought if I could get her to involve him it would give me an excuse to see him. She had already thought of asking Royce for help but he was busy trying to shake Elyce Dubois which made my blood boil, if that witch goes anywhere near Royce I don’t know what I will do.

I asked her how Taryn was taking the whole Bianca/Cameo/Sedero thing but she said Taryn was more interested in showing Bianca up by using Caspar to design something amazing, just as long as it doesn’t involve pink satin it is bound to be an improvement. Tiah is conspiring ways to get Braith away from Jazz and she told me she is desperate cause this could ruin the plans for her entire life as how can she marry the sort of man she wants if she is not the glitter of the glitterati. I told her if she was really serious about a breakup she would have to deal with the devil himself, she knew I meant Gervais Dubois because he was the only one in town who can manage just about anything he pleases.

We both shuddered and I left her to work it out herself as I have my own problems with Elyce putting the evil Dubois eye on Royce. Coco heard back from Liselle and it appears she is not exactly the type of person she is looking for and she was so relieved she doesn’t care her mother is still saying the J word. Coco said she will find something part-time in a boutique to keep her mother off track. It would be good if I could talk to Jojo about the Elyce chasing Royce thing being he is best friends with Royce but the best I can get from him to do is pull faces. I wish Chantal would beat him or something-- why can’t anyone in this town be normal for just five minutes?
