A Large Noxious Pest

Tiah called me this morning before work and told me that last night she was at Zebub with Coco (this is the local club that is currently in but since I work now I don’t go out too much during the week) and who did she see but that evil cow Elyce cornering Royce. It seems poor Royce just didn’t know how to get rid of her so she tried to help as she wants Royce to help her break up Jazz and Braith but Jojo who was there with him just kept laughing and encouraging Elyce. Not that this psycho barracuda needs any help she can manage to eat men alive and spits them out quite nicely on her own.

I remember before she was sent away to boarding school she had managed to get some local teacher fired in a nice little scandal. He said she seduced him but she played little miss dumb but we all knew that she spun her evil web around the poor bastard until he didn’t know what day it is. Now Elyce has her claws into Royce there is no telling how long before she lets go and it doesn’t matter if he has a girlfriend or wants a girlfriend or even was married. Elyce is like a younger Lynx Garcelle except without any boundaries, she will do in public what Lynx has the common sense to do in private.

I am going throttle Jojo when I get to work as I have no idea what is wrong with his already stupid head and cannot imagine how he let that vicious creature bother Royce all night until he fled the club leaving Tiah to drive home with Coco, now that is an experience not without its own horrors. So why Jojo would prevent Tiah from rescuing her own brother, his best friend, is beyond me but he has a lot of explaining to do this morning! Tiah said Elyce was like a creature possessed as she went up to Royce, attached herself to his arm and made sure he did not see or speak to anyone else. I think the reason guys can’t deal with Elyce is not just because she is a Dubois and rich and powerful but also because she is very beautiful the same way Liselle is, with that frozen Dubois ethereal perfection. The world is full of attractive women, like Tiah and Coco and Jazz but the Dubois are beyond beauty, even Gervais has their perfect features and they turn heads of both sexes when they enter a room. Well except for Gervais who probably just scares people whenever he is about smirking like some demon.

Now Elyce for some reason wants Royce to be hers and Tiah was thwarted by Jojo so maybe he in love with Tiah and perhaps I should ask him after I finish shouting at him. It seems everywhere I look there is Jojo getting in the way, at work, at Djini’s and now the club. He could use a girlfriend to beat him up and I thought if I could get Coco off her Braith fixation, now that he is firmly taken, and talk her into distracting Jojo for a bit. As for Tiah’s plans in breaking up Braith and Jazz I think she is going to need a lot more help than from Royce as he is a nice guy but he does not possess the necessary guile to arrange for anything to happen, now Jojo is smart enough but he can't be controlled. He doesn’t know about them yet, at least I don’t think he does and I am not certain what Tiah has told Royce and if Royce has told Jojo so maybe I should do a little finding out, as I don’t think Tiah is very organized. Then again I don’t think I will as I have enough with trying to get Royce away from Elyce, what do I care who Braith Vanderhaven kisses? Unless Royce absolutely hates it-- I might find that out too, but now it’s time to go shout at Jojo.

During my rant I discovered that Jojo knew about Braith and Jazz from day one and does not care at all as I shouted at him about bothering Tiah in the club he revealed that he already knew. He was also amazed I knew about this and remarked how girls must have wireless transfer systems for gossip as we all appear to know what happens to everyone. I asked him what was the purpose of letting Elyce Dubois near Royce as everyone knows she is a vampire which made Jojo laugh and me really angry. He added that Royce could use a little shaking up as he needed to accept some issues in his life so I asked Jojo what issues but he just shut up and told me to do stuff. I told him no, he can do stuff as I was still cranky at his total dismissal of anything I had to say about Royce. I then asked him if he was okay with Jazz and Braith being together and he gave me this funny look and said that someone might as well be happy in life. I thought about if for a while and he is right, out of everyone we know the only happy people are those who are causing misery to others. I mean Tiah has everything but she is constantly discontented with her life, Taryn never stops sprackling about stuff, Liselle is frozen, Jago is afraid of his lovechild, Zizi hates her father, Jojo and Jazz hate theirs, Chantal is in an unhappy marriage, Nadia hates Lynx for taking Osric and my mother and Coco live in another universe. The only happy people are the trouble makers; Lynx, Elyce and Gervais. Jojo told me to not to worry, the fact Elyce was in Zebub is prophetic. I laughed scornfully and said I doubt he understands what prophetic means, he laughed back and said he doubted I understood what Zebub means so I am going to look it up after work.
