Claws Are Out

After Tiah finally let us leave Djini’s I went home to find Mother and her best friend Chantal having a hush-hush (this is when you are laughing at someone else but don't want anyone else to know) in her sitting room. Chantal Sedero is like the third richest person in Bishop Vale, she owns a chain of entertainment restaurants and lots of famous singers got their start there mainly because Osric Jones the big producer is always there for dinner. It also gives her the chance to hear all the gossip in town as she has ears all over that place and she comes over to share the latest scandals with Mother.

When I was young, I was best friends with her daughter Jazz Sedero which made Mother and Chantal happy but unfortunately that only lasted until Tiah’s brother Royce Vanderhaven came home from school. He had gone through this amazing change for he went away this snot nosed punk who was shorter than me and came back six foot with a six-pack and now he is totally the goods. So now, I am friends with Tiah, which lets me see Royce as often as possible, but he doesn't seem to date girls much as he keeps going out all the time with surfboards and stuff. I know he is not gay cause he did go out with Coco a long while back but she said all he talked about were all these extreme sports, she thinks he is boring as. Then again, Coco is not exactly this huge conversation person either so you would think they would get along just fine.

Anyway Chantal and Mother were cackling over the Taryn/Caspar/Bianca war that is about to erupt. It seems that Liselle Dubois’ creepy brother Gervais might have arranged for Caspar to work for Bianca 'cause she is totally up his butt and does whatever he wants, but then so does everyone as it seems easier to just do what he wants than to fight him. Bianca and Gervais have this creepy little association going that freaks everyone out but what can they do--he is a Dubois and they own everything in town just about. So now Liselle will probably clean up his mess as she usually does, Chantal’s words not mine, I think it’s 'cause Liselle is best friends with Taryn. They all went to school as kids and now for some reason hate each other lots, as it has something to do with all their husbands not marrying the ones they wanted to or something else stupid. I can understand Chantal being bitchy 'cause she is married to Tony who is like the biggest sleaze, he hits on everyone but why Liselle hangs out with Taryn I will never know. Liselle is sort of like glass, transparent, but you know can be deadly if handled the wrong way, like all Dubois. I went up to sit in my room, anything is better than listening to their gossip, to wait until Tiah calls to let us know when it's safe to go out again.
